On Shopboss rows with fulfilled orders appear green whereas rows with unfulfilled orders appear white and light grey. This helps you easily identify unfulfilled orders that may need to be verified.

4. HOW DO I VERIFY ORDERS MANUALLY?

To verify orders manually, simply click on each address to validate it through Google Maps. When you click on the address it will direct you to Google Maps and do an automatic address search [Watch a video tutorial]. You can use our verification tips to determine if the address is correct or if you need to request missing or incorrect information from customers. To mark orders as verified, hit the ‘Mark as verified’ button [Watch a video tutorial]. You can check section B1 of our User Manual for more information on manual verification.

5. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I HIT ‘MARK AS VERIFIED’?

After hitting the ‘Mark as verified’ button the verification status will change to ‘Manually verified’. Marking orders as verified will help you keep track of the addresses you need to verify.

6. WHAT DOES ‘PARTIAL’ OR ‘AMBIGUOUS’ VERIFICATION MEAN?

If your order verification status is ‘Partial’ or ‘Ambiguous’ it is likely that one or more details are missing from the address. The most common missing details are apartment numbers and house numbers. In this case, we recommend checking the address manually on Google Maps to understand what is missing and contacting the customer to request missing details. You can check section B2 of our User Manual for more information on verification states.

7. WHY DID VERIFICATION FAIL?

If your order verification failed there may be multiple incorrect details (eg. street name/number and post code) or typos on the address. This may also happen because the address doesn’t exist. We recommend validating the address manually through Google Maps and contacting the customer to request or confirm details. You can check section B2 of our User Manual for more information on verification states.

8. WHY CAN’T I SEE VERIFICATION TIPS?

If you’re using Shopboss Pro orders will be automatically verified for you using our API. Verification tips can only be seen on the Free version, to help verify orders manually.
