INSTALLATION


1. MY TIKTOK FEED IS NO LONGER SHOWING. WHAT CAN I DO?

Usually, that means that TikTok disconnected your account from our app. Go to Shopify > Apps > Juniper - TikTok Feed and reconnect your TikTok account.

 

2. THE APP IS CONNECTED TO MY TIKTOK PERSONAL ACCOUNT, HOW CAN I CHANGE THAT?

Follow the steps below on your computer and not mobile.

  1. Go to www.tiktok.com in your desktop browser and log out.

  2. Important: Login to www.tiktok.com with the TikTok username you want to show in your feed. This is not your personal or shared username, you need to log in using the username (account name) of the account that you want to show. If you don't have the password for that username use the recover password option

  3. Go back to Shopify > Apps > Juniper - TikTok Feed and connect your TikTok account again.

 

3. I CAN NOT SEE ALL POSTS OR IT LOOKS LIKE THE APP IS NOT UPDATING.

Please find the most common reasons below:

  1. Posts with copyrighted content (such as songs) are not allowed by TikTok to be shared outside their platform.

  2. Posts made in partnership with other TikTok accounts are not available.

 

4. CAN I ADD THE TIKTOK FEED TO A DIFFERENT PAGE INSTEAD OF THE HOMEPAGE?

  • If you are using a Shopify 2.0 Theme you can add our app as a section anywhere in your store.

  • On legacy themes go to the page where you want to add your feed in Shopify, click on the code button and paste the following code:

5. HOW DO I DISPLAY MULTIPLE FEEDS FROM DIFFERENT TIKTOK ACCOUNTS?

Adding multiple TikTok feeds is available on our Pro and Plus plans (with Pro you can add 3 feeds while Plus allows adding unlimited feeds).

Create the desired feeds on the app and connect each feed to the respective TikTok account.

6. HOW CAN I INCREASE OR DECREASE THE SIZE OF MY VIDEOS?

Video size depends on the number of columns of your feed. The easiest way is to simply let our app decide the optimal layout (Configuration: Auto - available in all our plans).

Alternatively, you can configure the number of columns manually - fewer columns mean bigger pictures and vice-versa. With our Pro and Plus plans you can also configure a different number of columns and rows for different devices.

 

7. HOW CAN I MANUALLY ADD A TITLE TO MY FEED WITH A LINK TO TIKTOK?

1. Go to the Shopify > Apps > Juniper - TikTok Feed and remove the title from the settings (if you have one there).
2. Go to Themes > Customize > Juniper - TikTok Feed App section and copy the code below under the "Custom Code" area:

8. WHEN I GO TO "ADD SECTION" IN MY THEME, THERE ISN'T ANYTHING LISTED FOR THE JUNIPER - TIKTOK FEED APP

You need to update the app - go to Shopify > Apps > Juniper - TikTok Feed and hit “Save Feed”

Note: You won’t see the section if you are using a Theme in Trial mode - if this is the case try this method instead (we recommend installing via Theme Sections once you buy the theme).
